For many years after I became a Christian, I believed that meant my problems were over! Everything was gonna be all fine and dandy, sugar and sweet smelly roses. It was a shock to realize that wasn’t the plan.
I expected all my emotional baggage to automatically float away, my money issues to disappear and I expected everyone to love and approve of me because I was now a “good person”.

In the time in which this was written, temples were the places where the gods were thought to live. More than places of worship, these were places of presence.
