So the month of June they say, is national celibacy month. Well, let’s talk about it then.
Celibacy isn’t a fun topic to talk about.
Especially if you are celibate. Because in this society, it’s like saying you’ve chosen to live in the stone age while everyone else have moved on. You’re sneered at, laughed at, or worse, called a hypocrite and a liar. Because people just believe living a complete life without having a sexual relationship is impossible. (like sex is oxygen!?)

Our culture has become overly sexual; it’s all around us TV, Film, the music industry, the internet. Sexuality is being used to sell everything. Our female celebrities are teaching our young girls that it’s cool to take their clothes off for the camera. And it’s so sad to see how fast the lessons are catching on.

Pornography is not the backdoor industry that it once used to be. In our modern world it is out there in the open for everyone and anyone to access and make use of.
With internet based technologies developing rapidly, being anonymous on the internet has become somewhat of a standard and with these being a major catalyst in the progress of the industry, the pornographic “side” of the internet has turned into a multi-billion (per year) dollar business.
ANSWER: The Bible never explicitly mentioned masturbation or states whether or not masturbation is a sin. The Scripture most frequently pointed to in regards to masturbation is the story of Onan in Genesis 38:9-10. Some interpret this passage as saying that “spilling your seed” on the ground is a sin.
