I haven’t posted any new music in a while. Not because there hasn’t been any, but because i want to make sure if i introduce you to any song here, it has to be a song that has personally blessed me.
Recently, i have been so blessed by this new worship song i have just discovered by a lady who I believe we will soon be really good friends (Lool). She has an incredible testimony that inspired the song and i believe you will connect with it.
I Interviewed her on my radio show on sunday and i was so touched by her story and inspired by how God brought her through it all.

I looked at this picture and I was drawn to its intimacy. This photo which is credited to “Adforumco” caused some mild drama on the company’s thread when it was published. Majority of the people on that thread tried to talk down on the size of the bride and some other unprintable things were said. Isn’t it interesting how people will talk down what wouldn’t suit them rather than moving on and allowing others connect to what suits them?
Personally I listen to all things music. I understand that we are in a competition, I cannot afford to be content with all I know. I must know what the other person knows to give a good fight or superior argument.
You know, you can only win a war when you understand the strategy of the opposition and spot their weakness. Music notes, sounds and its variations are many and universal, but the Nigerian Church music has been limited to only a few progressions, chords and variations.
The sound is monotonous and the content predictable. The resistance to change in sound and content is high.
Afro-fusion artiste, Gaisebaba is set to disrupt Nigeria’s music scene with the maiden edition of his revolutionary concert ‘Korinsódì: an evening with Gaise.’
The unusual concert will feature unusual performances from some of Nigeria’s most talented musical acts including 9ice, veteran producer ID Cabasa, Isaac Geralds, opera singer Ranti, Saco, EmmaOhMyGod and many more. The award-winning singer has also concluded plans to premiere the highly anticipated video to his latest hit single, Titilai, in the coming weeks.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the concert, excited Gaisebaba said;
ZAMAR: Her name; a Hebrew name meaning To make music to God, aptly describes the heart of this little girl who is a joy to not just her father’s heart, but the hearts of everyone who meets her.
ZAMAR practically grew up on her father’s knee while he produced music in his studio, and as the leaf does not fall far from the tree, her dad’s musical genius and love for worship has clearly rubbed off on her.
At age four, ZAMAR has featured in 2 of her dad’s albums; contributing a prayer skit on THE WORSHIP SESSIONS Season 1 and an Intro and Outro on THE WORSHIP SESSIONS Season 2.
ZAMAR is five now and here’s her debut single. In this very simple song of worship, her innocence and purity shines through as she sings clearly and sincerely.
The song is produced by her dad (FLOROCKA) who also assisted with background vocals.
Here’s introducing OWECK. A dynamic music minister, a versatile singer, talented songwriter and producer, with the primary goal of pleasing God on and off the stage, O.W.E.C.K has established himself as one of Nigeria’s leading and brightest prospects for Gospel music.
He believes in exploring his creative possibilities without limits or boundaries, and that quest led him to the stage of the Nigeria Idol Talent Show in 2013, where he emerged as a semi-finalist. An alumnus of the prestigious Peter King’s College of Music, O.W.E.C.K has paid his dues, working his way up by singing background vocals for Timi Dakolo, and as a solo artiste, he believes in bridging the gap between art and spirit.
He is currently a lead worship minister at the WaterBrook Church, Lagos, Nigeria.
I’m worried about the future of entertainment and the arts. Wholesome, moral and grime free content has gradually been eroded and replaced with debauched and morally bankrupt content.
Music is no longer food to the soul. It’s now poisonous. Art has no more meaning; dance has been reduced to sex with clothes on.
Look around you; take a good look at your favourite TV shows; would you like your children to be inspired by the heroes and heroines of these shows? Drug dealers, Adulterers, Serial Murders and Homosexuals have become our favourite TV characters.

I get sent tons of new music every week and i think over time i have just become rather numb. But this man right here, woke me up from my slumber and i just can’t shut up about it. His name is Peter Tobe and he’s a Nigerian worship music artiste based in South Africa. He has a brand new album and he emailed me 5 Tracks off the album and they are AMAZING!
I can’t post the songs here for obvious reasons. you’ll just have to buy the album or listen to my radio show on sunday mornings to hear the songs.
I will however post a non-downloadable song here so you can have a feel, but please make sure you buy the album. You can find Peter Tobe on twitter @IamPeterTobe and the album is called “A New Song”. It’s available on iTunes.
I haven’t posted new music in a while and i am sorry about that. Honestly, i think it’s because i am very careful about what i share with you here. I want everything to touch you and bless you in some way. Talking about music and blessings, Tosin Ojuri is someone whose resilience and sincerity has always been an inspiration to me. He’s been on this music thing for a while and i can tell you that his relationship with God shines though his words and his music. I am priviledged to be on his BBM contact, and Tosin inspires me everyday with his quotes and inspirational messages.
This particular song is a personal favorite and i’m so excited he’s finally shot the video. It’s called “Ibi Giga” (meaning the higher place). Watch after the cut:
