Christianity In The Face Of Fuel Crisis

It’s an understatement to say Nigeria is in the thores of one of the fiercest energy crisis she would ever face. And needless to say Christians and non christians alike are affected. Its natural to feel anger and fraustration at the way our government is handling the situation and be tempted to vent out our feelings.

we definitely can’t bury our heads in the sand and act like we are insulated from what is going on. I mean, i don’t know about you but i don’t have electricity and i have no fuel to power my generator and the cost of cooking gas has doubled. so yeah. we are all in this together.

But how do we stay in faith, maintain positive confessions and maintain our intergrity? Christians are being tempted to sell at hiked prices a.ka (Black Market) to make quick money. ¬†For some of us, it’s the despondency, the anger and the need to lash out and speak negatively.
