Over 10.5 million Nigerian children are out of school, the largest globally. The Destiny Trust puts a face to this number; they are the children we encounter on the streets and disadvantaged communities.
#1000HelpingHands is a campaign of the Destiny Trust to support the education of at least 100 disadvantaged children every year by inviting 1000 People to give.

The Kids’ Clean Club is an initiative of The Mental and Environmental Development Initiative for Children (THE MEDIC) a non‐governmental and pro-human organization that aims at a total positive transformation and development of the child.
The club was established to raise a generation of physically, mentally and environmentally clean children across Nigeria and the World by creating awareness amongst children, about the effects of pollution and global warming, and how they can make a change in their environment. They also teach them about patriotism, etiquette, motivation, dignity, integrity, savings, and at the same time harness their God given talents.
The kids spent this weekend Cleaning up the beach and i think it’s absolutely amazing what they do! I really look forward to hosting them on my radio show soon. Check out the photos:

The #Give2STER Campaign promotes an end to sexual violence and abuse. Stand to End Rape (S.T.E.R) Initiative works to end all forms of rape through education, supporting victims of rape and changing community perceptions towards sexual violence and abuse.
S.T.E.R provides awareness seminars, sexual violence and abuse education, peer mentoring, therapy and promotes sexual and reproductive rights.

The Back-To-School Campaign 2014 is geared towards enrolling 5000 kids who were forced to drop out of school due to poverty or have never had the opportunity to attend school. This year, we will be enrolling kids for both the Easter term and the new session in September.
