Peace Is Not Neccesarily The Absence Of Chaos

When you realize that the story of your life is authored by God himself, you will be at peace. You will be at peace with yourself, peace with your environment and peace with God. Lately, I have been learning about God’s peace. I have read it countless times in Apostle Paul’s letter to the Philippians, that we can experience a kind of peace that is beyond  human understanding but it is one thing to read about an experience, it is another thing to live that experience.

I understand that the peace of God is not necessarily the absence of chaos and trouble. The peace of God is a deep understanding and confidence in his presence and his absolute control over the direction your lie is taking. Such that the whole world around might seem to be conspiring to make you miserable, but at your deepest core is a calmness and confidence that outside observers do not understand.

When you embrace that he has written your story and he knows the end from the beginning and he’s got you covered, you will no longer fret over mundane things. You will no longer live in a state of anxiety and nervousness, decision making will be easy because you will KNOW when you’re making the right choices by the peace you will have about it. If you do not have peace about a decision, you do not move forward.

The ultimate truth I want you to never let go is the fact that God loves you and that love is unconditional. Understand that he’s got your back and if he seems to not want you to be somewhere or have something, it’s because he has bigger and better plans for you.

I have learnt not to sweat over stuff because God has proven over and over again that he’s got all covered and he’ll come through at the right time.  Learn this, and you will have learnt how to be peaceful. You will learn to hand over your future completely to him and live in a place of ‘chill’.

Philippians 4:6 -7 (NLT)

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

  1. I agree that we will always interpret the messages the living God our heavenly Father sent us to deliver to humanity with our daily encounters, as long as we belong to the Lord Jesus Christ.
